It depends on the type of the device. Most of devices nowadays can read ePub and PDF files, but we advice you to check with the manufacturers if that is the case. Pay attention if the device supports both non-DRM and DRM ePUB and PDF files. If the device supports only non DRM ePub or PDF format you won't be able to read ebooks from TookBook.com.
To activate an eBook device using an Adobe ID… 1. Connect the eBook device to your computer. 2. Open Adobe Digital Editions. Adobe Digital Editions launches and detects the eBook device. The 'Device Setup Assistant' dialog box is displayed. 3. Click 'Authorize Device'. Adobe Digital Editions activates the eBook device. You can now transfer DRM-protected Adobe eBooks to the device. Note that both Adobe Digital Editions and the eBook device must be activated with the same Adobe ID to transfer DRM-protected Adobe eBooks to the device.

When transfer is complete the 'Copy Documents' dialog box closes. You can now disconnect the eBook device and enjoy the eBook on-the-go.Note that to transfer Adobe eBooks to a supported eBook device, Adobe Digital Editions and the eBook device must be activated using the same Adobe ID.The display of Adobe eBooks on eBook devices may vary, depending on the nature of the content.
It depends on your ereader type. Ereaders that have internet connectivity through WiFi or 3G normally enable direct download of ebooks, but we advise you to check with the manufacturer.
No. Books bought from Amazon can only be read on Kindle, and Kindle can only read DRM ebooks bought from Amazon.

Yes, once you have purchased the eBook it is yours. The title is stored on your eBooks.com account and you can access it at any time by logging in with your username and password. Most formats allow you to download the title as many times as you like however, Adobe format eBooks have a license which enables you to download three times. If you need to download your eBook again and you are receiving an error message indicating that you have used all of your licenses, please contact our Support Staff who will be happy to reset this license for you.
